Kamerin 13th After Finals

Kamerin just finished her first VISA Championships yesterday afternoon in San Jose, California. She started off on uneven bars where she did a nice Jaeger and stuck on her dismount. She placed 12th scoring 13.300. On the next event, balance beam, Kamerin nailed all of her routine and stuck her triple twist dismount scoring 14.450 for 7th place! Kamerin did an outstanding job on floor exercise as well where she did a full-in, 2.5 twist + layout front, 3/2 twist as a side pass, a triple twist, and ended with a double pike. She tied for 13th place with Amanda Jetter and Rheagan Courville on that event. On the last event, vault, Kamerin took the risk to vault a Yurchenko 1.5 scoring 14.300 for 13th place. Kamerin finished 13th in the all-around. She missed making the US National Team by a spot. Congratulations to Kamerin's teammate, Jordyn Wieber, for winning a bronze medal in AA! Today Kamerin, along with her gym teammate Jordyn Wieber, are in San Jose, California for the VISA Championships. Kamerin started off on vault with a clean Yurchenko full scoring a 13.900. Her next event was uneven bars where she did a toe-on blind, Jaeger, shootover, and full-twisting double tuck dismount. She tied for fifth place with a score of 13.850 on that event. Kamerin did an outstanding job on balance beam where she did a really nice triple full dismount with a nice score of 14.3! On Kamerin's last event, floor exercise, she nailed all her tumbling passes and placed 12th scoring 14.050. After the first day of the VISA Championships, Kamerin is 11th in the all-around. Full results have been posted. Good job Kami!! The second day of VISA Championships will be on Saturday, at 1:00 PM PST.

Over fifty new pictures have been added to 2007 US Classic. New wallpaper has been added as well. Kamerin will be competing at her first VISA Championships this week in San Jose, California. She will be competing in the junior division on Thursday and Saturday at 1:00 PM PST. Kamerin will try to make her first Junior US National Team. She will need to place top 12 and with an average of a 54 all-around to make the team. Good Luck Kamerin!

Kamerin Qualifies to US Nationals!

Kamerin and teammate Jordyn Wieber traveled to Battle Creek, Michigan for the 2007 US Classic. The competition was yesterday and Kamerin did an outstanding job by placing fifth in the all-around and qualified to her first Junior US National Championships! She also won two bronze medals on balance beam (15.000) and floor exercise (14.000). Congratulations Kamerin! Full results and videos from the meet have been posted.

We want to say thank you for visiting Kamerin's brand new website. We hope you love the new website on Kamerin as much as we do. Kamerin's routines have been updated as well as with updated A-Score on all events. Kamerin has been training hard for the upcoming meet, US Classic, in Deer Creak, Michigan. She recently upgraded her vault to Yurchenko 1.5 and added a fifth pass on the floor exercise!
