Kamerin began gymnastics at the age of 18 months and quickly progressed in the sport. She took her first gymnastics lessons at Oakland gymnastics and trained here until 2001. She then moved to Twistars when she was 6 years old after level 4 season. Ever since Kamerin has been at Twistars, she has accomplished many achievements, such as 2006 Level 9 Eastern National Qualifier, 2007 JO National VT Champion, 2007 US National Qualifier and 2008 US National Team Member.
