USA Team Wins Gymnix International
March 7, 2009
Kamerin is in Montreal, Canada for the 2009 Gymnix International. On Friday night, Kamerin helped the USA team to win a gold medal ahead of Canada and Russia with a team total of 168.8. Kamerin finished third in the all-around with a 54.925 and second on vault and balance beam scoring 14.400 and 13.750 respectively. She qualified to vault event finals today, where she won a bronze medal with a 14.450. Good job Kami! Full results have been posted from the meet.

Kamerin Wins USA vs Japan in Chicago

Kamerin helped the USA team to win at the USA vs Japan Friendship Meet earlier today in Chicago, Illinois. Kamerin finished first in the all-around with a 56.350. She then placed first on floor exercise, third on vault and second on uneven bars. Good job Kami! Full results, pictures and videos have been posted from the meet.

Kami Received Two Assignments

Kamerin received two international assignments this morning at the US National Training camp. She will be competing in the USA vs. Japan dual competition in Chicago, Illinois this Friday. This meet is on the same podium as the 2009 American Cup. The USA team will be Kamerin, Bridgey Caquatto (Naperville), Mackenzie Caquatto (Naperville) and Hallie Mossett (AOGC). Kami then will travel to Montreal, Canada for the 2009 Gymnix International on March 6-8. The junior team will be Kamerin, Jordyn Wieber (Twistars), Hallie Mossett (AOGC) and Sabrina Vega (Dynamic). Kamerin Placed 2nd in Florida

Kamerin traveled to Sarasota, Florida this past weekend for the 2009 Battle of Champions. She did really well, placing second in the all-around as well as second on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. On vault, Kamerin had a nearly perfect vault, where she scored 9.9 for first place! Good job Kamerin! Full results have been posted.

Five Medals at Twistars Invite

This past weekend, Kamerin competed at the Twistars' Midnight Madness competition. Kami had an excellent meet, where she finished second in the all-around as well as second on beam, vault and bars. She placed first on floor exercise scoring 9.7. Full results have been posted. Good job Kami!

1st AA at The Cup

Kamerin traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio for The Cup, a Region 5 J.O. Meet, where she competed in the 10/Open Session. She did really well, winning the all-around title and on all events. Good job Kami! Full results have been posted from the meet.

Kami Wins Two More Medals

Yesterday, Kamerin competed in vault and floor exercise event finals at the Top Gym. She won two more medals; a gold medal on vault and a silver medal on floor exercise. Good job Kami! Videos have been posted from the event finals. Videos from the all-around competition will be coming soon.

Bronze for Kamerin

Today Kamerin competed in the Top Gym all-around competition in Charleroi, Belgium. She had a few falls, but still placed in top three. She grabbed the bronze medal in the all-around while teammate Jordyn Wieber won the competition. Kami finished 2nd on vault, 4th on uneven bars, 3rd on balance beam and 6th on floor exercise. Good job Kami! She qualified to some event finals tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. (Belgium time). Full results have been posted.

Kamerin and teammate Jordyn Wieber are traveling to Charleroi, Belgium for the Top Gym this week. The competition will start on Saturday, November 29. Good luck Kami! Today we added videos of all events from 2008 US Nationals Prelims. We also added a new montage by Christine.

On other news, congratulations to Kamerin's coaches for being named Region 5 Elite Coaches of the Year as well as teammate Jordyn Wieber for being named Region 5 Elite Gymnast of the Year!

Kamerin Moore's Official Website has a brand new layout! We hope that you like the new look. Almost every page has been updated with new content. We added new avatars, videos (2008 US Nationals D2) and pictures (2008 US Nationals D1/D2 and 2007 US Nationals D2). We also posted Kamerin's tentative schedule for 2008-2009 season.

Kamerin and her teammate, Jordyn Wieber are traveling to Houston, Texas for the US National Training Camp starting tomorrow until October 10th. Good luck Kami!

Superstars Tour in Michigan

Kamerin will be performing in the Gymnastics Superstars Tour when it comes to Michigan. She will be in the Joe Louis Arena event in Detroit on Nov. 2nd and at Breslin Center event in East Lansing on Nov 7th. You can buy tickets on gymnasticssuperstars.com website. Kamerin Makes the US National Team

Congratulations Kamerin: 2008-2009 Junior US National Team Member! Kamerin's second VISA Championships concluded today in Boston, MA. She did really well today and she improved her all-around score from 56.150 (prelims) to 56.950 (finals). She finished 7th in the all-around, tied for 4th on vault and 3rd on balance beam. Kamerin, along with top 12 juniors, made the Junior US National Team. Good job Kami! Full results from today have been posted. We also added pictures and videos from training and prelims.

5th After Prelims in Boston

Kamerin is in Boston, MA for the VISA Championships. Right now, she is sixth in the all-around out of 28 gymnasts. Kami’s best performances came on vault and balance beam. She finished fifth scoring 14.550 on balance beam and tied for fourth place scoring 14.35 on vault. She scored 13.9 on floor exercise with a few nice skills, such as 2 1/2 to punch front, double full and double pike. Kamerin also did a hit routine on uneven bars scoring 13.35. Congratulations on a great preliminary round! Kamerin will continue her competition during the finals on Saturday at 10:30 am EST. Full results have been posted.
